DIY Boutique Bag | Stampin' Up! Tutorial

Hi Everyone. I hope you are well!

It's been a while since I last posted, so I thought I'd kick everything off with a brand new Stampin' Up! tutorial for you.

This is an easy peasy one. Super duper simple, but super duper elegant.

I have used a couple of sale-a-bration items in this tutorial. Now if you don't know about sale-a-bration with Stampin' Up! then it is an amazing offer where you get to choose a FREE product for every £45 that you spend. This offer is cumulative too so if you spend £90 that's 2 free products. If you want to have a look at the sale-a-bration catalogue then simply click HERE.

Here are the dimensions:

Card size: 12" x 7.5"

Scoring on the long side: 3.25" / 5.75" / 9" / 11.5"
Scoring on the short side: 2.5"

What did I say.....easy peasy.

Click on the tutorial below to see the full process.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Please let me know what you think, and if you give this a try then I would love to see your creations.

Bye for now,
Jessica xoxo

Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring!

It seems really odd to be saying hello to Spring already when we are only 4 days into January, but January is most definitely a month to start saying Hello to new things.

I am a crafter by nature. I own my own candle business and I enjoy being part of the Stampin' Up! community and I am so excited that their Spring/Summer catalogue has been released today as has their Sale-A-Bration catalogue which will be coinciding with some Jessica Louise Creations Valentines packaging. (Check out the online Spring/Summer Catalogue here.)

Sale-A-Bration is an amazing opprtunity to take advantage of some amazing free products. For every £45/€60 you spend in the annual catalogue or Spring/Summer catalogue you are eligible for one free Sal-A-Bration product. Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I have taken full advantage of this and purchased all the products I wanted from both the annual and Spring/Summer catalogue and selected for myself many amazing Sal-A-Bration products. (Check out the online Sale-A-Bration catalogue here.)

There are some absolutely amazing products in the Spring/Summer catalogue. I'm a big bundle of love at the moment so I was immediately drawn to the Sending Love Suite, in particular the designer series paper which immediately blew my mind with ideas for my upcoming Valentine Candle Collection. (More on this coming on Friday). I was also really drawn to the Urban Underground Suite, the use of Delightful Dijon and Basic Black really stood out to me and I can't wait to use this product. I'm currently trying to think of ways that use this that doesn't make it seem so manly. I mean, I know a lot of crafting products end up being quite feminine and men often get forgotten, but I like to make my products look suitable for both Male and Females, So..... challenge accepted.

What are your favourite products from the new catalogues? Or, what are your faves from the annual catalogue? I still think that this year's annual catalogue is absolutely amazing and I am still grabbing myself loads of supplies from this one (View this here.)

If you want to purchase any products from any of the catalogues Click HERE. Don't forget to use the hostess code on my home page under the About Me section. The hostess code allows you to benefit from more free products from myself at end of the month. (Please do not use my hostess code if you spend £150+ in one order as you are eligible for your own awards). Please make sure that you haven’t clicked 'no contact' because by law, I won’t be able to send you your reward.

Out With The Old and In With The New Year | Hello 2017

Well, that's it.! 2016 is over and done with and we have finally welcomed in the new year.
How did you welcome in 2017? I spent the day with my boyfriend at my best friends house to celebrate. We also celebrated her birthday as she's a New Year's baby :)

I thought I'd do a 'what I'm happy about' post today. I always, without fail, say that I can't wait for the new year because something has happened during the previous year that has stuck in my head and dragged it down. Sometimes we forget about all the nice things that have happened throughout the year. So here we go:

  • 2016 was the year I got engaged to my boyfriend
  • The proposal was absolutely adorable, on a boat sailing round to old Ibiza Town
  • I started my business Jessica Louise Creations which I am super proud of
  • I (with my boyfriend) have purchased a property. (Goodbye renting)
  • I managed to travel LOADS last year including going skiing and visiting Nice, France
  • I've read a lot of lovely books this year
  • I attempted a red slope during my skiing holiday and landed a jump (though the jump was accidental hah)
  • I attended my very first craft fair and absolutely smashed it :)
These are just a few points, but it has really put a smile on my face even just writing these few down. It has made me forget about the negatives of the year and focus on the things that have made me incredibly happy. What made you happy this year?

Speak soon,
Jessica xoxo
